Our qualified, supportive and bilingual trainers are here to guide you or your child towards your Chinese language goals. They are adept at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each student through diligent observation and interaction and thus, will be able to meet the specific needs of every student.

Our accredited trainer, Dr Liu, has over 30 years of teaching experience and is a lecturer for English-Chinese translation and Chinese at local universities, such as SIM and NTU. She possess the necessary qualifications, holding a postgraduate diploma in English-Chinese Translation, a master’s degree in general linguistics, a master’s degree in applied linguistics, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chinese and an Advanced Certified in Training and Assessment (ACTA). In addition, she is extremely patient and supportive, and is skilled in syllabus design and class delivery. She is also Deeply familiar with MOE guidelines, syllabus, and expectations for Chinese and English-Chinese Translation in the PSLE, O-Level and A-Level. She will strive to be the best support you or your child needs!

Fun Fact: As expected of a Chinese Trainer, Dr Liu loves to watch historical documentaries and has a massive book collection that she takes pride in. On the other hand, she has an adorable dog that she pampers and takes out on daily walks.

 

Our passionate trainer, Ms Li, has over 12 years of teaching experience and took up Chinese Literature in Nanyang Junior College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree. She is deeply familiar with MOE guidelines, syllabus, and expectations for PSLE, O-Level and A-Level for the Chinese subject. In addition, she is adept at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each student through diligent observation and interaction, and will thus be able to meet the specific needs of every student. She is a native speaker of Chinese and bilingual, receiving her education in Singapore, and is thus able to provide both English and Chinese explanations to ease the learning of low proficiency students. She is committed to transforming my students’ mindsets towards Chinese in order to transform their results!

Fun Fact: As a typical Chinese teacher, Ms Li loves reading up on Chinese history as well as Chinese culture. But what people don’t expect is that she also loves to paint and indulge herself in other forms of visual arts. Also, although she am no fitness junkie, Ms Li enjoys exercising and believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
